François-Guy Richard

Mr. Richard has spent most of his career in the venture capital and private equity industry as a financial analyst (modeling, evaluation), as a business valuator and as an investment counsellor. Throughout his career, Mr. Richard has worked with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance , with Capimont Technologies, with the Société Générale de Financement du Québec (SGF), and with the Fonds de Solidarité de la FTQ. He founded Tradesult in 2008.

 

Claude Fortin

Mr. Fortin has over 25 years of experience as a business valuator. Throughout his career, Mr. Fortin has worked as a business valuator for Richard Wise & Partners, RSM Richter, PriceWaterhouseCooper and Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. He has also worked for the Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and the Société Générale de Financement du Québec (SGF), overseeing investment analysis. Mr. Fortin expertise is in great demand in the industry and as such he advises the SGF and Fondaction, gives conferences to employees of the Fonds FTQ and of the National Bank of Canada and to members of Quebec order of Chartered Accountants (CA). Moreover, Mr. Fortin has testified in Court on numerous litigations, and has realized several business valuations for fiscal purposes both for private and public corporations.

 

Drew Dorweiler

Areas of Expertise : business valuation, forensic accounting.

Mr. Dorweiler has been valuing businesses for 23 years in most contexts: for investment, accounting tax and litigation purposes. Mr. Dorweiler particularly distinguishes himself in the areas of valuation for litigation purposes and forensic accounting, having been involved in more than 100 litigations and having testified as an expert-witness before court more than 25 times. Mr. Dorweiler has testified before the Quebec Superior Court, the Ontario Superior Court, the Canadian Tax Court, the United States District Court, the Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania, the Orleans Family Court of the State of Vermont as well as before several arbitration panels. Before his involvement with Tradesult and Dartmouth Partners, M. Dorweiler has been employed by Merrill Lynch, Lazard Frères, Wise Blackman, RSM Richter and BDO Dunwoody.

 

Hicham Saad

Areas of Expertise : entrepreneurship, financing, Middle-East.

Mr. Saad is a successful entrepreneur based in Doha, Qatar, offering his services as well as his Middle-East network to Tradesult clientele. In addition, Mr. Saad has been a business partner with the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ for two years and still has excellent contacts within the organisation.

 

Alain Chayer
Vice President

Areas of Expertise : conventional bank financing, asset backed financing, subordinated debt.

Mr. Chayer has extensive experience in financing and investment. He occupied the positions of Branch Director with the Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and Senior Director in charge of Montréal Mode with la Caisse de dépôt et de placements du Québec (CDP Capital, CDPQ). Since 2002, he has been helping his clients to seek financings. In particular, Mr. Chayer has a great amount of experience with conventional bank debt, asset-backed or subordinated debt financings.
